So, what space processes yield water? Like, _lots_ of water that ends up in a massive cloud in space?

And when you get a massive cloud of water in space, does it follow that there would be a (or many) humongous globs of water?

And if you had a humongous glob of water that, due perhaps to tidal forces or proximity to a star, never froze would it develop high core temperatures from the pressure of all the water sitting on top of it?

And if by some miracle no rocky bodies ever splashed into it and you had a big old planet of water, would it have a definite surface and atmosphere, or would you just gradually go from liquid to varying degrees of misty?
I’m just asking questions.

For a massive cloud of water in space, I’ll toss in this - [Largest Ever Water Reservoir Discovered in Space](http://www.ibtimes.com/largest-ever-water-reservoir-discovered-space-301271)

For questions about the water world, there was this recent fascinating thread which should answer most of your questions - [What would happen if the earth was made entirely of water? - Factual Questions - Straight Dope Message Board](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=683894)
