Oh, and Santa Cruz’n’ , please refrain from straw men if you would. I am not trying “to show flaws in critical thinking” as you put it. fictional stories about what dowsers say and do. As for “missing the point” I thought that the point is to fight ignorance, and you don’t do that by making up fictional tales about what dowsers do.

So **pramanujan** did **not** fill out the appropriate application form, including meeting all of the requirements listed.

The rules for being tested by JREF are clearly posted on the site. If you don’t apply by the rules, you don’t qualify to test. If you haven’t applied by the rules, then you have _not_ applied.

**Peter** , you have re-opened a two months ago thread in order to make negative comments about Randi, yet again. We know how you feel about this, but it’s old news and a hijack of this thread. Please cool it.

We don’t mind re-awakening old threads when you have something new to say, but frankly, it isn’t new for you to say your piece against Randi.

I am therefore closing this thread. The topic itself was worn out two months and several pages ago.
