So, are there any big things that were missed in this thread? The [LOTR Done By Someone Else](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=138905) thread should perhaps be included in here, though I don’t know how anyone could’ve missed it. [This thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62742) might be useful for newer posters, such as myself, who’re wondering why Satan was banned. Also, the [Funny Things Said While Gettin’ It On](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24960) thread is always good for a laugh. I don’t remember seeing that in this thread before. Sorry if I shouldn’t have bumped up this thread, but it seems like it’d be something fun for new posters to read. ---

I think that it’s the assholes, and to a lesser extent the uninformed, who inspire so many of the contributors to this board to greatness. Did we miss this one?
