The court ordered rudy to appear, and he explained that the FBI had seized a lot of his devices, and the vendor who could provide the information had told him it would cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars to retrieve these emails (that makes no sense to me, but I don’t know…) As a result of that explanation, the plaintiff said - well, then we should be able to examine the disclosures that rudy made in his latest divorce to determine if he can afford this expert’s costs, or if the plaintiff should have to bear the costs themselves. I wonder if Rudy was trying to impress her with pardon bullshit, like as if he told her he could take AF1 out for joy rides. To entrust her with such a dangerous scheme would be something only a drunken idiot would do. ---

On the other hand, his comments about not going through usual channels to avoid official records suggests he’s put a bit more thought into this scheme than one would normally put into a pick up line. So while he may not have actually done this, he’s certainly looked into the possibility. ---

For the employment contract, maybe. IANAL, but I’m pretty sure she can’t sue for breach of the “kinky sex contract” because the courts won’t act to enforce a contract that involves illegal products or services. ---

He was labeled as America’s Mayor because he was the mayor of New-$&#%in’-York City when NFYC stood up wounded, bloodied, grieving, for once seen by all as _not_ the “Babylon” of elites and Wall Streeters and “those others”, but as _America’s City_, and did the job of being the face of it. Then as soon as that moment passed he went back to being himself only now boosted by fame and flattery. Which _still_ failed to propel him upward. And that’s when the brain rot set in, apparently. ---

I just saw a Law & Order repeat (one where a new DA is being introduced) and Rudy made a guest appearance as mayor of New York. He seemed so…normal. ---

There was also a _Mad About You_ episode from back in the day in which Paul Reiser’s character said he was planning to vote for Giuliani in the upcoming mayoral election. Insert “Burke from _Aliens_” reference here. ---

It’s not for me to say whether you should or shouldn’t decide to watch the Giuliani episode of _Last Week Tonight_ (Fifth Season, Tenth Episode, 8.7 IDMb rating). I thought it was pretty entertaining. It is _so much more_ than you wanted to know about Giuliani. ---
