I open Huffington Post, and see this teaser: “Bad News For ‘Daily Show’ Fans”. I read just enough to see it wasn’t Jon dying or quitting. The bastards 🙂 [The story.](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/12/daily-show-colbert-report-cease-online-streaming-viacom-directv_n_1668989.html) ---

Viacom is asking (demanding) a $1 **b** illion carriage fee increase from DirecTV, yet streams their content for free on the internet or sells it to Netflix, Amazon, and iTunes. As a DirecTV customer, I have a problem with their dipping more into my pocket while their ratings are dropping. I’m with DTV on this one. ---

Apparently Viacom is pulling some of their shows off the internet as part of ‘punishing’ DirecTV.
