Ask her to produce her birth certificate. And I can’t believe no-one’s suggested sawing her in half and counting the rings yet. ---

I’ve heard if you saw them in half and count the rings that will give you an accurate idea on the dogs age. ---

Get all the “dog’s birthday party videos” and count them. If your dog has one birthday per year the number you come up with should be the dog’s age, unless you have been maltreating him. ---

It might be a technophobic dog and not possess one of those new-fangled video machines. Or what if it is somehow a queen dog and has two birthdays? Or what if its birthday falls on the 29th of February? Oooh, this is tricky. ---

When you cut her in half to count the rings, keep in mind that this can be very very messy. I would suggest she spend a night or two in the freezer first to cut down on the spray and mess. If you use the band saw method you’ll find out that dogs can indeed meow just like cats. ---
