If you want to be understood, the burden of communication is really on you. If multiple people are telling you they don’t understand you, well you can either blame them and yell a lot, or you can attempt to make yourself more clear. Which do you suppose would be more effective in accomplishing your goal of being understood? We might have caught the joke had she managed to capture a joking tone in her writing. But given that she couldn’t / wouldn’t / didn’t even manage clear sentence structure, there’s no way to put tone into that. ---

[/li][li]Don’t go getting hostile at anyone and everyone because they’re having trouble understanding you. If you were hopped up on cold medication (as per rayh’s explanation) when you posted, then you’d have saved a lot of grief by just saying so. (We’ve had heaps of members making posts under the influence of all kinds of substances… we’re well trained to ignore it and move on.) By trying to make it everyone else’s fault, though, you got people offside. That’s how trainwrecks start.[/li][li]I assume the slagging off about us wishing you were dead was just part of your need for drama centred around yourself. However, if you really did think anyone wished that, then please be advised that you’ve really, really come to the wrong forum. We got up in arms at the idea of you wanting someone to \*grovel \*- do you really think that people who are against something as comparatively mild as \*that \*would be leaping to wishing for someone’s death?[/li][/ul] ---

With all respect to **Giraffe** , I disagree emphatically. We have rules against trolling, and I do not understand how posing a false situation in a provocative way is anything other than trolling. This thread is closed. The mods will discuss amongst ourselves how to deal with this, since we have moderator disagreement.
