I use endust on my aluminum sliding ladder but that’s aluminum against aluminum. If it’s a sliding door there should be a wheel involved.

My new favourite lube and corrosion fighter is Fluid Film. For a marine environment nothing fights rust better. Contains NO solvents. It’s food grade too, so I suppose in a pinch you could eat it. I use it in all my locks, and it smells kind off pleasing. Lanolin based. Check it out.
