So **Inkleberry** and I have managed to devour all of the Harry Potter books in the last month, and now we eagerly await the next installment. When is it? Anyone know? ---

Well, seeing as she has just started writing it this month, according to her website, you will be waiting for awhile. I personally think it won’t hit until the last quarter of 2007. ---

Her schedule has been pretty consistent (except for when she took some time off after Book four to weather the storm of fame, get married, and have a baby). She takes about a year to write the book, and then six months after completion it’s released. Books five and six were July 2003 and July 2005 respectively. Expect book seven in July 2007. That’s my educated guess. ---

If people who love Harry Potter are hopeless geeks, well, then there are a lot more geeks in the world than previously thought. Posting on the SDMB is FAR geekier than reading HP. ---

I do want to read it, but then the series is over. I know we will still have the films, but no HP film has ever totally captured HP’s world for me (even though the 3 do embody Harry, Ron and Hermione for me-it’s a weird disconnect. Some characters are spot on, like Maggie Smith as McGonnagall, but others…) ---
