I’m so in shock I read an “un-” in front of “opposed.” My bad. The only bright spot I see in all this is that there are a number of Republican senators in tight races who are going to have to face the voters sooner rather than later. That might make them want to wait until after the election to deal with RBG’s replacement. If tRump and the Rs lose badly, they may not be able to get the votes for someone really stupid, like Cruz or Cotton. ---

I’ve been looking at Ecuador. Cheap, incredibly beautiful. Currency is USD. They knocked back a terrible Covid outbreak really quickly, although there’s a resurgence at present. If I hadn’t waited so long to apply for a passport, I’d be there now. ---
