# We don't need to 'understand the issues that led' to Tuesday's atrocities

Okay, folks, gentle reminder. We try to limit threads to five pages, because we’ve found that more than that will do weird things to our server.

This thread will be closed in a little bit. In no way should this mean an end to discussion, or a need to break things off; I’ll certainly start a continuation thread as it seems there is still plenty to be threshed out. But don’t be alarmed when you see this thread closed.

Hey **John** , upon closing it, could you move it to GD? I don’t think a Pit-Thread has ever been moved to GD (And it would be cool for this thread to be the first), and frankly, I think any follow-up threads would be more productive there.

On the other hand, if it’ll cause the server to go insane or take hours or something, never mind.
