I was there (in fact, the ice broke off huge branches from the tree in my front yard, and darn near killed it.) We got ushered out of school when power failed; we were without power for a couple days. I remember my mother complaining that the richer neighborhoods got their power restored a day before the poorer neighborhoods (of which ours was one). It was also the first time I tried driving on icy roads. I threw my car into a spin accidentally on Cypress-North Houston. Fear my driving skills should I ever move north, ya yankees! ---

Don’t shoot me for reviving the thread… 😃 I canNOT believe I missed it. Did not show up on my calendar and between momisms, work, school, moving houses, and vacation (2 wks in FL-Disney) between the last time I posted and now, I just haven’t been surfing the boards much - actually hopped on to see if anyone had a good math thread. Jager must be freezing temperature to enjoy – and a shot of Jager in a glass of Red Bull is my newest absolute favorite (although very dangerous!). I, personally, LIKE Thomas Kinkade. Anybody want to take it outside? 😉 Bloody heck, and I missed the one and only appearance of Jinwicked, too. robgruver/NE Texan, I don’t remember the snow either. Lots of ice. I loved it! Siegfried, funny, I live two minutes away from Cypress-N-Houston… small world!! But, robgruver… anal sex? With…?!? Is it a what or a who? 😉 And darn if I didn’t miss seeing Mamapotomus!!
