Welcome, **Hal**! Has anyone ever been “the new guy” for a shorter period of time than **engineer\_comp\_geek**? **Frank** and **FluidDruid** became mods nine days apart, **DrMatrix** and **Ukulele Ike** were also nine days apart, **Miller** and **Ellen Cherry** were a mere two days, but this was less than 24 hours. > [@Hal\_Briston](#): > > \ “Bancrook.” I like that. ---

My twin, **Gfactor** , actually holds the record, as I mentioned in **Idle Thoughts’** thread. His appointment was announced at 4:06 PM on 6/20/07, followed by mine at 5:51 the same day, giving him 1 hour and 45 minutes as most junior mod. ---
