fierra! You make a wolf blush! That is a neat picture - thanks for your efforts in finding that!! The rendering is close - but my eyes are blue 😉 I would much rather be the real one, and not the freaky, menacing mythological one. Actually, I didn’t know that there really was a dire wolf (I got it from the Dead song). It’s good to know that I have ancestors. If they are, I haven’t seen them or heardof them (I did an infoseek search to see what it stood for…). But we do have a very nice waffle shop in St.Albans (about 5 miles away). My fav is banana, cream and maple syrup… Struuter, nice cheesecake, a bit old though isn’t it? What do you mean it was fresh when you got here? Busy? Us? Um, quick - look over there! ::whoosh:: ---

fierra, don’t worry about the cheesecake. I have more where that came from. DW–I just got back (yesterday) from a road trip down to Kansas City for the Plaza Art Festival. It rocked–as always. We’ve been going for the last nine years…you’d think by now I’d know my way around. ugh. Glad to see you two are…um…er…uh…well. St Albans?!?!? I used to live 20 minutes from St. Albans! (Same name, different country) Mmmmm. Cheesecake. struuter, thmsph mmpfh chempsffkke ish shwfsff… Sorry. Heh heh. Not polite to talk with my mouth full. The Plaza Art Festival, huh? Sounds neat. We just wrapped up the annual music festival here. This cheesecake is delish. Forget these pancakes - I’ll give them to the homeless guy around the corner. He could use a good meal. fierra, you have got to try this. C’mon, it’s made with cream cheese, so it’s not like real cheese. Taste it. Alright, alright - close your eyes, and I’ll uh, just feed it to you…like this…Mmmmmm…how’s that? ---

Mmm…good DW, don’t stop…(the cheesecake feeding! Honestly, some people! I don’t know where they get their ideas from!) But I have a confession to make - I don’t mind real cheese! I just mind it on bacon & egg sandwiches… (& probably on other dishes too - chocolate something & cheese probably wouldn’t go very well!) & I like cheesecake - is that English cheesecake, Struuter, or American (cooked)? The cream cheese makes it sound english…raspberries, yum! (One of our dogs used to steal the ripe raspberries off the canes when we weren’t looking!) Hi Jester - struuter has plenty of company at her post bash - check out her collection of naked men (& wolves…)…and alcohol…and more free food! ---

No, DW, that’s fine - I assumed that you were talking about the egg & bacon sandwich. Of course, ::flutters lashes:: if you _want_ to write me a new ballad, you’re welcome to! My mom used to make kiwi fruit cheesecake & she used to grate chocolate in the middle (as well as putting kiwi slices round the edge). She’s been having problems finding kiwi yoghurt recently, so I haven’t had that for a while. Jester - glad you’re back. It seems that only struuter could tempt you out ::spots dust cloud by door:: What you’re not here? The thought of the free food was more than you could stand? ---

I happen to be be very ticklish, especially around the ribs. I’m certain this bit of information will come back to haunt me at some time. It’s a good thing Dire Pig isn’t prone to bulemia, otherwise there’d be some mess in here. I will happily enjoy my over-indulgence, and just work it off in some creative way. I am reminded of my 16th birthday, at Jahn’s Ice Cream Parlor. I polished off the Kitchen Sink all by myself, thank you. (The Kitchen Sink is some obscene concoction of ice cream meant to serve at least 12 people, and comes in a bowl that you would use to mix a cake in.) My crowning achievement in excessiveness. ---
