What’s interesting is that, if this is true, they’ve achieved what no other nuclear fusion researcher has done yet, and that is produce a fusion reaction that produces more energy than is required to get it started.

Can you elaborate on this point for me? doesn’t every H-Bomb produce more energy than it took to get it started?

Exactly what I was thinking. It’s like…you strike a match and hold it to the fuse of a stick of dynamite. Small energy in - big energy out.

Could not the reaction be ‘tripping some trigger’ thereby causing the release of some kind of stored energy?
