I hate reading stuff like this. When I saw the thread, I was desperately hoping the “friend” wouldn’t be a name that I recognized. Not that it would’ve been any better had I not known the name, just less-- I don’t know-- personal. I didn’t know **poopah** personally, but I’m really saddened by this. **Scotticher** , you and his family are in my prayers tonight. ☹ ---

I am so saddened by this news. I echo what **cazzle** said although I never interacted with him he sounds like he was a wonderful human being. That bridge is right down the street from my house and I pray I will be reminded to pray for his family each time I go by. Peace be with all of you and my sympathies go out to all \*\*poohpah chalupa’s \*\* friends and family. ---

Reading this thread brought tears to my eyes. I went back and read the “Thanksgiving thread” and tears fell down my cheek. I can only send my prayers to PC’s family and to everyone who has posted. If a thread has moved a lurker this deeply, I don’t want to imagine what the regulars feel. ---
