It’s his own little restaurant. This was a great tip that someone gave me early on. Now when I put my hand in our snake’s cage, she climbs up. Then I take her into another room to feed her. I think she associates my hand with “oh, there’s the thing that I can climb up, and find food somewhere” I feed her frozen (then thawed) mice. She’s never had live food - I’ve heard that once they have live, they don’t want to go back to thawed - and it’s easy to have a few frozen mice on hand. Plus, live food can injure your snake. Plus, it’s nasty. ---
