Is the purtification a strict pre-requisite for rescue fwucking (or should that be ā€œrescuing a fwuckā€)? **LiLi** , just look forward to the time when wake-up time is determined fairly closely by bedtime. I know that HRH sleeps nearly 12 hours straight through at night (about 11h45, to be more exact), so if I get home at 5:45 pm and hubby has already put her to bed, I know Iā€™ll be in trouble next morning. This is why I always try on a Thursday night to keep her up until 7pm - lets me have a little sleep-in on Fridays!!! The other thing I got HRH into the habit of was quiet time in her cot. If she wakes up at 5:30, I go in, give her back her dum-dum and quietly tell her itā€™s not wake-up time yet. Sheā€™ll usually lay back down or at least play quietly until 6! I work hard at domestificatinā€™ my liā€™l girl!!! šŸ˜ƒ ---

I just had a bad case of ā€œthe drops.ā€ ā€œThe dropsā€ are when everything suddenly freezes and I feel fear (not anxiety) drop through me. Itā€™s the main reason I went on anxiety medication a couple of years ago (and promptly gained a lot of pounds on it and went off of them last year when they made ā€œthe dropsā€ even worse). I hate ā€œthe dropsā€. I need to go walk the dog this morning. Hope the rain holds off until weā€™re back. ---

Iā€™m sure theyā€™d be fond of them if they had some up North. Anyone want to fund a Ship Trees North for Polar Bears venture? Nat did go back to sleep at 6:30, bless him, and slept till 8:30. I should clear out the fridge and ponder why we have so much food, andyet I canā€™t think of anything to make. We still have half a box of skor bars and three-quarters of the cake. That should do us over the weekend, donā€™t you think? I think Iā€™ll eat a larabar. And not work. ---

Oh, yes. As for polar bears, what do they do without woods? Where do they sh\*t? Ariel actually crawled into my lap to snuggle for a bit, though after about 10 minutes of head scritches she decided that she once again hates me thoroughly. Sheā€™s now grooming herself from head to toe to remove all traces of Teh Hooman from her fur. This just in: Interview! With HR! For the job I wanted but was being ignored for! OMG! Not enough exclamation points for this!!! Gulp. Interviews never go well for me when I really really want the job. I get all nervous and stammery and stuff. ---

My left knee reached up and poked at me this morning as if to say ā€œI still havenā€™t forgotten that surgeons have been inside me twice.ā€ first time was to do something to ligaments and clean up some munched-up cartilage. Second time was more cartilage-trimming, IIRC. (Both operations were 20+ years ago.) Rescue fwucks, eh? Iā€™m intrigued and wish to subscribe to that newspaper. ---

Plants have been checked, no water needed, laundry has been done and even folded, cookie dough has been made, Iā€™m all showered and ready for work. Cookies will be made tonight when Iā€™m done working. I love my 4 hour shifts. I hope Iā€™m needed in class though. Lately I really havenā€™t been.
