For me, the surest sign that we are in the end times, is that despite the length of time this thread has been around, and notwithstanding plenty of snarky answers, NOBODY has pointed out the propriety of the OP’s username/thread subject combo. It must truly be a great comfort to the anointed to know that End Times are nigh and the nonbelievers and sinners are about to perish in utter and horrific agony, as opposed to laughing at your sorry ass when you come blinking out of the cave to find everything still here and you have to go back to work in the morning. ---

I kind of was wondering out loud if what the Bible says is actually happening, heck who the hell knows if it’s true or not. Certainly not I or any one of you skeptics and Atheists here. According to the Gospels, Jesus said that no one will be able to predict when the end comes. He said there won’t be any signs. It will just happen. Of course we are at the end of times. The end of our times. The Mayans had the end of their times. The Romans, Greeks, Persians the end of theirs. The end of WW2 was the end of times for National Socialism. There is constantly an end of times for someone or some group. Why should the post-Roman Christian West be any different? If you want trumpets to sound I know some out of work musicians. ---
