Wow - just wow. Thank you all for these warm words and congratulations! It really means a lot to both of us! Ya know, it was interesting to see that on the same day we became whatevers, a Justice of the Peace in New Orleans refused to marry a heterosexual couple because they were bi-racial. The uproar was swift and loud. Yet the fact that we had to wait 28 1/2 years to get some semblance of legal rights proves that. although more people are starting to see bigotry comes in many various forms, we are a long way from everyone being treated equally. However, I want to sincerely thank all of you for your supportive words and well wishes! Forget our registry; the best gift you could give us is to vote for equality when ballot initiatives show up in your state. Thank you! ---
