# We should be allowed to edit our posts

hell I got into it with a mod back when the anthrax scare was big, I not only called him on a stupid stance I used his own supporting link to do it with…granted thats only one mod but he did leave the thread as it was for all to see.  
the mods arent exactly like regular posters dont ya know.

True. I’ll occasionally correct a typo, or some bad coding. With the server stressed as it is, I prefer not to preview and submit straight away. 9 out of 10 times, I’ll save the hamsters some effort, and 1 out of 10 I edit out a little typo.

I have never abused the edit feature to alter my posts’ meaning, or content. Neither have any of my colleagues. Hell, Ed Zotti would kick us right out if we did.

I think **because** they are moderators they can be trusted not to play with their text. Hence, they have it, and we don’t.
