He’s shown himself capable of change and trying to please both sides on occasion if it aligns with his own beliefs. With Cruz, you know he will be against sanity and reason from the start. This is a guy who shut down the government and caused a reduction in the credit of this country. He’ll scream bloody murder if he doesn’t get 100% of what he wants and he’d have the power to destroy the country if he doesn’t get his way. He’s a true believer, you have no chance to influence him, you either join him or get trampled.
