FWIW, I found it hard to dislike Spice. I always felt like he was among the more likeable people in the WH, but that he was sometimes forced to be a schmuck because he had this tyrant watching over his shoulders who was living in an alternate reality and he had to come out and talk to reporters in _real_ reality. Seems like the kinda guy you could sit down and have a beer with, have a few friendly disagreements with, and it’d all be good. ---
