Got off the river Friday–great time, great people, we knew 3 of the guides from our previous trip. So awesome to unplug for a week and be in the moment. Had 5 of them up for dinner as they travelled through Bozeman Saturday. Could definitely do more of that.

I’ve been looking for more volunteer opportunities. Made sets for the opera this spring. Service pups is an interesting idea. Habitat would be a good fit skill-wise, but I don’t think the bod will allow much hands-on carpentry. I have a zoom meeting with my neurosurgeon tomorrow. Neck fusion is looming and a year long rehab really looms in my mind.

I whole heartedly agree with this. Making other people happy can take many forms.

- mentoring
- teaching
- giving
- helping
- sharing
- connecting

Fulfillment is often achieved when we help others.

Agreed. And this guy also agrees: [The 4 Phases of Retirement - Aggregate Asset Management](https://aggregate.com.sg/2023/02/the-4-phases-of-retirement/)
