As of 7:45 am here in chilly south Georgia, it is 39 degrees with a wind chill of 28 degrees. At 5:30 am it was 42 degrees with a windchill of 37 degrees. By 5:00 pm it’s supposed to be 35 degrees with a windchill of 25 degrees.
And tonight, the low is predicted to be around 14 degrees! :eek:

It’s starting at a balmy (for winter) 48 with light drizzle. But the temps are supposed to drop throughout the day and we’re being threatened with teens tonight. That’s temps in the teens, not an onslaught of teenagers! I have 3 potted plants to bring in and I’m going to wrap up the spigots outside, but I’m not covering anything up. If things freeze and die, such is plantlife…

Oh, a friend of a friend works for a pipeline contractor, and the temperature of his butt was reported to be 97.4F (I didn’t check that myself, FCM…). So it IS colder than a well digger’s ass…

'NW Chicago burbs. At 6:30 this morning it was 3 below with a wind chill of 25 below. Wind chill advisory today. High supposed to be 9 above. Hasn’t been above 32 in 3 weeks.

Here in Charleston, it’s 35 degrees. There’s a 50% chance of precipitation, which means we should all be at the store buying milk and bread. 😃 The expected low for today is 18 degrees. That’s according to the Weather Channel.
