For obvious geeky reasons, my favorite is probably “George Lucas In Love” – crossing _Shakespeare in Love_ with the Star Wars mythos was pretty inspired, once you bought into the premise. To think, the Nemesis of the Rebellion is based on some pompous, wheezing, anal-retentive asthmatic film student named Aaron. My cousin Aaron didn’t like it as much as I did, for some reason. If anybody can find a link, go right ahead and post it. All the ones I googled are dead. ---

This one, [Tetra Vaal](http://analogik.org/video/_tetra_vaal_video.mov) , is one of the greatest pieces I’ve ever seen. Not only because the robot is CGI, but because it is a perfectly done corporate video demo. And, it’s really quite spooky, when you think about it. HIGHLY recommended. [Rockfish](http://www.blur.com/html_quicktime/rockfish_480.html) is standard-issue CGI, but quite well done. This is … [interesting](http://www.devilducky.com/) . Let it play all the way through. Trust me. Someone has too much time on their hands, but at least they’re creative. ---

I think that even who made the film got part of that, as there were a lot of _Robocop_ elements to it. I can’t find the thread now, but there was a long thread a while back where a number of posters said that they were creeped out by the Honda robot commercials. ---
