# Website showing crime statistics per zip code?

I am almost certain I’ve been to websites before in which you can give the site a zip code and it returns crime statistics, including incidents per capita. But tonight for whatever reason every search I try returns instead sites that only map out specific incidents. No statistics that I can see. Do such sites not exist?

Where I live, if you go to the Police Department’s website, you can access statistics there.

Some PDs use [SpotCrime](http://www.spotcrime.com/), but a lot of them will have some kind of mapping service through the department’s website.
