# Wedding Ring Secrets?

After reading the the wedding ring thread I wondered how common it is to have your rings inscribed. Not just names and dates but phrases or sentiments. I read somewhere that Courtney Cox-Arquette has inscribed on hers: “a deal’s a deal”. I think that’s kinda’ cool. What’s inscribed on (in?) your wedding ring?

My best friend’s husband’s ring is inscribed “Feelin’ Groovy” with their initials and wedding date. Oddly enough, that Simon and Garfunkel song is “their song”–some sort of in-joke that none of the rest of us understand, but they think is quite funny.

My ring has nothing in it. My husband wears my paternal grandfather’s ring, and hit has my grandparent’s wedding date in it - 2/27/1916.
