I’ll definitely try to join you guys for at least an hour or so (or as long as my dog can cross his legs). I have no idea what Lottie’s is like now, but any place that used to be a brothel where the madame was a hermaphrodite sounds like an ideal place for a ChiDope. ---

From someone that lived in Wicker Park for years… Holiday Club is super-cool and also has a menu. No private room. Nick’s is basically a frat bar that I guarantee will annoy any one of you. Might be dead on a Wednesday, but it’s loud, obnoxious and packed with 14 year olds any weekend night. Lottie’s is pretty okay. You might also want to check out the Pontiac (1531 N. Damen), which has a HUGE outdoor seating arrangement in the warm months. ---
