Sorry we missed you, **Mr. C.** We were a group of 5 at two pushed-together tables at the back of the front room. We probably were one of the louder tables - I don’t think any of us there knew anyone else well, but it didn’t matter. Good conversation about everything from Uzbekistan to Hawaiian hospitals, and from saints’ relics in Irish cathedrals to straitjacket bondage women at Wisconsin gamergeek conventions. ---

How dare you people have fun without me! Sounds like **Gundy’s** first recommendation was a winner, and I trust y’all (Well, except for the **Random** guy, he’s got shifty eyes) to pick a good place. How do the rest of the dopers feel about the place? ---

Well, I lked it, but then I have very few opinions about bars, seeing as I only tend to hang out in them when there’s a band playing that I like. It wasn’t awfully smoky, which is my own primary concern, and it had nice woodwork. ---
