# Weed Spam

Lately, I’ve been seeing spam for “weed by mail”. One, in particular, claims to be based in California and will mail you one of about a thousand varieties of marijuana. I’m assuming this is just an outright scam to get you to send money (Bitcoin, CashApp and maybe PayPal) to an untraceable receiver. Is there anything more to it it than that? No, I don’t need to get weed by mail. There is plenty around if I wanted it.
