Pardon me for being pedantic, and about three weeks after the fact, but: (a) There were never any postseason BCS rankings (there were no CFP postseason rankings last season, for that matter), and (b) The BCS formula can’t be duplicated exactly, even if you bring AP back to replace the no-longer-existing Harris poll, as at least two of the computer rankings that BCS used got rid of their “no Margin of Victory” versions. ---

I simply used the Yahoo! rankings, inaccurate as they may be. Feel free to disagree with them, but they seem to be as good a way as any to start the first of the season’s picks. Those games are at least on the schedule and somebody has to lose in them. That’s the main idea here. 🙂 There’s nothing official about this poll so post your own if you feel strongly about the issue. ---

Perhaps you meant FBS (what used to be called Division I-A)? ---
