Iā€™m pretty pleased with having chosen The Maltese Falcon, especially-- my first thought was to go with a Hitchcock movie, which a lot of people did, but I figured he made so many that selections would be scattered and none of his movies would gain a high position. (Nitpick: In the movie mystery category, ā€œMaltese Falconā€ is given a different score than ā€œThe Maltese Falcon.ā€ Combining the two might be enough to change a few peopleā€™s positions in the rankings.) ---
