JLA Classified: Martian Manhunter was out of character, as was Wonder Woman. Story is nothing special.
New Avengers: Art isn’t as bad as Wonder Man, but it’s close. Notice how no one was especially worried about Dr. Strange? Guess when you are a Master of the Mystic Arts, a samurai through your chest is a routine, minor occupational hazard. Some benzocaine, a band-aid, and he’ll be right back.
The best thing about this arc is the kid himself. He’s pretty interesting, for all that I wanted to slap him stupid until the last pages of the first issue. Amazo’s off, Ivo’s off, the League is off…the kid’s girlfriend is obnoxious. But the kid, I like.
