> I’ve heard an awful lot about this Identity Crisis, but completely hate DC Comics (aside from the rare Vertigo issue, I’ve never found a DC Comic proper that I liked). Why is it so good? What is it screwing around with in continuity that I should check it out?

It’s good because it, well… is. It’s well-written, well-drawn, and deals with a lot of characters that people like. It’s also the extremely rare “summer event” that’s actually worth reading and will supposedly have effects on the DCU for years to come. On the other hand, if you don’t like any DC characters, you might not care.

Check out the various IC threads and see if anything sparks your interest.

> Re : Madrox - Yay! a Peter David book with a third-tier character! That means we’ll get 20 issues or so, just enough time for David to show off his brilliance, then it will be cancelled!

It’s a limited series. 😉

On the other hand, it’s got Jamie, Rahne, and Strong Guy, so it’s guaranteed to kick ass. 😃 Especially for all us old **X-Factor** orphans…
