Unfortunately, January is my “swamped month” and both my protestant work ethic & lack of free time was the cause. b) Comment / Question (_From **Thermalribbon** _): I don’t know what that says about a band when you’re favorite song (by Concrete Blond) “Everybody Knows” is a (Leonard Cohen) cover song. My Opinion: Nothing negative. As evidenced this week’s top vote getter in the Cowboy Junkies poll. I personally wouldn’t even want to count how many cover versions I’ve picked in the past 35 weeks, some covers are even better than the original. c) Tounge in Cheek Request (_From **Hugh Jass** _) Re: Formal application for a Townes Van Zandt 6@6 Poll…(sometime) in 2006. Answer: Sure…but remind me. I guess it’ll be in the V’s, sometime after Vangelis/Aphrodite’s Child.
