I watched him on Rachel Maddow last week, the friendliest of friendly shows for him. I sat there thinking “this is the best story he can come up with? He’s totally did it.” Shocking that he finally admitted it. That said…I truly don’t care. Not at all. He accidently sent something to twitter, went “oh shit” and deleted it thirty seconds later. Big deal. I don’t think he should resign. I don’t think this will affect his political career at all, nor should it. And no, you’re not going to catch me in being hypocritcal and going after a Republican politician who did roughly the same thing. He cheated (or attempted to cheat) on his wife. That’s an issue between him and his wife. The only reason it would affect me is if Weiner had an “pro-family” platform, or tried to enact policies based upon his way of living because his way of living was the “moral” or right way. He didn’t. Don’t care about anything else. ---
