Weird Al seems to be good for at least a few more albums. What are some songs that he’s never done that simply must happen. I really, really believe that he needs to do a version of Elton John’s _Tiny Dancer_, except that the song would be _Tony Danza_. Anyone else have ideas? LC “Hoold me closer Tony Daaanzaa…” ---

you know, Weird Al isn’t the only musician on the planet. If he had a dime for everytime someone offered him a song suggestion… I wonder if anyone goes up to Disturbed and asks them if they can do a song that’s actually a banana pie recipe, but they should sing it so it sounds evil, or if someone goes up to Ben Folds and says “hey can you do a piano rock song about this ex girlfriend of mine who turned out to be slut?” anyway, my point is…if you have an idea for a parody, do it yourself, and let Al write his own songs (well…his own lyrics). Hey, for all we know you may be his new competition! ---

_slight hijack_ I just saw for the first time the Simpsons episode with Weird Al. It makes me happy to know that the guy is still around, even if the last thing I’ve seen him be a major part of is I Love the 80’s ---

My mom likes Creedence Clearwater, and would play it often when my sister and I were little. One of the songs on her favorite album was “Bad Moon Rising”, to which the chorus ends thus: 'There’s a bad moon on the rise!" For years, Quantum Sister thought it was ‘There’s the bathroom on the right!’ 😃 ---

Al already surpassed my wildest expectations by imitating Frank Zappa’s style for “Genius in France,” so the one thing I’d like to hear him do that I don’t think he’s done yet is do an original song in a Beatles-esque style (any period would be great, although their early style is probably the easiest to imitate). ---

I was amazed with Al’s connection to Hanson, and the time that it came out, that there wasn’t an “Mmm Bop” parody called “Hale-Bopp”, but I guess a suicidal cult wasn’t good song fodder though they sure were a goofy little group of fanatics. ---

Guinestasia - Wierd Al does have a parody to “My Heart Will Go On” that he does as a concert-only piece; something to do with pizza delivery (wish I could remember the name and some of the general direction of the lyrics). ---
