# Weird Body Odour Problem

Can pregnancy and gaving a baby change your BO?

I’ve been noticing my BO is alot stronger ever since I had Bub. It is driving me nuts because I’m smelly. And it smells different.

Previously I could shower in the morning and put some deoderant on and that was enough for the day. now I’m showering twice a day and re-apply deoderant a couple of times a day as well.

It is Autum here in Australia and getting quite cool so I can’t blame the weather.

So is this another weird pregnancy/birth side effect?

Yes, it can affect how you smell. My scent changed throughout pregnancy and is still changing now. I wonder if it will ever get back to normal.

It’s all to do with hormonal changes, so I’ve been told.

Try wiping out your scent: [http://www.killbo.com/](http://www.killbo.com/) That guy discovered that strong BO is from bacteria, but the bacteria is hard to wipe out because it survives in clothing and re-infects you. A small amount of bleach in the laundry, plus strong bacteriacide deodorant breaks the cycle.

Great idea **bbeaty** I’ve got large amounts of nappy wash powder which I should be able to add to my other washes. If the stuff can sanitise nappies it should kill any smelly BO bacteria in my clothes.
