# Weird doings in Bremerton, WA.

According to [this](http://www.bremertonsun.com/news/2001/march/0324keylessremot.html) article in the Bremerton Sun, almost all vehicle keyless remotes have ceased working.

The government is probably testing some EMP type weapon from the carrier in the bay. They should do perimeter testing to see the boundaries of non-working remote controls so they could try to find an epicenter. My bet is the carrier.

I really don’t know how I should react to this. My first inclination is to say “Cool!” but there’s a little voice in the back of my head demanding to know why they think they can experiment on their own citizens like that.

I think I’ll settle on “What do you expect? Bremerton was always a weird town, anyway.”

Brother’s idea of a good time is to go to this used book store downtown and then go eat at Taco Bell. Works for me.
