# Weird Earls--Weirder Basement

There used to be a similar ‘basement’ site years ago which I believe has gone away. Basically you would be presented with a choice of boxes you could look into and then see the description which could be bizarre, humorous, or in some other way strange. It was a wonderful time killer. It seems like there might have been a 42 in the title.

I think that’s really cool how your memory confused “23” with “42.” I would have probably confused those same two numbers. Cause, you know, 23 is the illuminati number and we all know what 42 is.
