I regularly find myself humming/singing [Three Degree’s “When Will I see You Again”](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3R878g-SppU) but that song is just so not me. I even sort of dance the moves too and that’s so disturbing but I keep finding myself doing it. Oh and not as much but often I get up humming Paul Anka’s “Having my baby” (as I mentioned in another thread). Do you suffer from any? ---

About a week ago, I found myself with a little ditty running through my head for a couple of days straight. Was thinking ‘Ok the words are dumb but the beat is ok; maybe I should figure out how to put it down’ when I heard the Jlo commercial for whatever car that is. I’d taken that beat and put the words ‘Boot to the head, boot to the head, dun nuh nun NUH nuh, boot to the head, boot to the head…’ to it. 😛 ---

Last week I caught myself going through a whole series of “number songs” as earworms. It started with “1, 2, 3, 4” (I forget who sings it, but the song was used in a commercial 2-3 years ago) because the baby is learning to count and we sing versions of it around the house while counting fingers and toes and stuff. From there, my mind went to everything from “One Is the Loneliest Number” to “Two out of Three Ain’t Bad” to “Henry the Eighth” to “99 Red Balloons.” Et cetera. Annoying, but weirdly amusing. ---

Somewhat disconcertingly, when I step out the door on the first real spring-feeling day of the year—the one where the air feels fresh and the sun is warm and the world looks jubilantly green in the way that you completely forgot about during the long bleakness of winter—I always find myself singing [Tom Lehrer’s “Poisoning Pigeons in the Park”](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNA9rQcMq00). Yup, animal cruelty has been the inadvertent theme of my spontaneous vernal rejoicing for something like thirty years now. (But it’s such a _happy_ little song!) ---

I know there are a bunch of them, but the only ones that spring to mind right now are Kermit the Frog’s lines in [this video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X-E3wIPSpg), the Glee closing theme, and Al Bundy’s [vegetable garden song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2rg1w88ekqw#t=74s). ---

A few months ago, while a British friend was visiting, we were watching videos on YouTube. Something I constantly find myself whistling - no matter the time of year - is a French Christmas carol “Il est nè, le divin enfant”. Which I first learned in high school French class… nearly 40 years ago. I suspect this will be the most obscure one in the thread - what do I win? 😃 ---
