:smack: _Now_ I realize the meaning of “cornfed.” Up until now, I’ve only associated it with less than flattering depictions of certain people.

Our big family legend (not counting the historically verifiable ones) was that an uncle of mind spit on the Tsar. That was a big deal for a Jewish family from Russia.
Supposedly, he was painting a house when the Tsar’s carriage went by. No one noticed.

My great grandpa used to be a professional hunter I guess you could say. Caught and sold furs of various sorts in North Dakota (this was back in the 30s
He told me how the Sheriff in the area was an avid outdoorsman and wanted to help the crew on his days off.
Well nobody really liked the sheriff, and so while the crew was eating their tuna sandwiches, he was fed his own special tuna sandwich…made out of canned cat food.

I know someone who did that recently to her cheating soon-to-be ex-husband.
