TMI ahead: [spoiler]I have encountered no less than three sex toys on the side of the road while bicycling. Two were those cyberskin slip-ons for those stainless steel vibrators, and one was a full strap-on unit consisting of a 10" (I’m guessing) realistic flesh-colored dildo, de luxe black leather harness, and a red finger-sized butt plug for good measure. While this isn’t on the road, I also encountered a decaying jelly dong (replete with suction cup) in a local lake bed while walking with a friend. Incidentally, this lake is a water-supply impound for a great part of my city (not that this physically matters). While walking on the same stretch of road on which I saw the aforementioned unit, I nearly stepped on a cotton gusset, obviosuly removed from a pair of pantyhose. Myriad explanations can be had, but I’m thinking it was an impromptu smelling-sachet of one’s lady-fair (foul?). I have encountered many pairs of ditched underwear on the side of the road, one pair in the parking lot of a grocery store at which I was carrying out groceries for a customer.[/spoiler] I once met a gentleman who rode his bicycle all around the city. While seemingly a bit slow, he was kind, and we had a short chat as I encountered him in front of a grocery store (I was on my bicycle at the time). I forget the segue, but he was showing me a wallet-full of the money he apparently found on the side of the road over the years; he had at least ten or twelve torn specimens of bills worth no less than 5 dollars apiece, and a few twenties. A Spaldeen (not knowing that these were back in production a year prior, I thought someone lost a treasured old relic). ---

Driving to the railway station early one morning I passed someone dressed in a full (English) Civil War outfit trying to hitch a lift. I was only half awake and it took a couple of minutes for it to register. I assume it was a real person and not a ghost from some long-lost battle. 😕 ---

I live in a wonderful little hick area, so there’s all sorts of interesting things to be seen. On my drive to work everyday, there’s an intersection I stop at where there’s a pair of boots tied together at the laces and slung across a telephone wire. On my road, there’s a quarter-mile stretch of road between two signs that say “No Dumping”. On this stretch of road, you’ll find refridgerators, mattresses, cabinets, dozens of bags of garbage, tires, etc. ---

On a covered bridge in Germantown Ohio at approx 7:30-8 pm we saw a complete birthday party set up, cake and all and not a soul around. It was a fall day we decided to take a drive and see the covered bridges in our area. The covered bridge in question was no longer in use and accessed by a short path. In the middle of the bridge was a table,chairs, cake, and presents and there were streamers, balloons, lanterns all around. It was all very surreal and beautifully done. Germantown is a very small town and we figured we had happened onto the setup of a surprise birthday party for one of the residents. We left everything alone and returned to our car and waited a while to see if anyone came. No one did while we were there. ---
