I try never to leave one of something by itself. Particularly food; the last few candies out of a box or bag of 'em usually end up in my mouth at the same time. That’s really not possible with those creme eggs they make in the spring season, which is a shame since I lurve those things. ---

I whistle the Inspector gadget (not the movies, the ancient animated series) tune whenever I shower. It just pops in my head as soon as I step into the shower. ---

Leave by the same door I came in. Never noticed but a friend did and pointed it out to me - and he was right. Even to the point of “I’ll meet you around back” and going out a different door than the people I’m with. ---

You do realize that, as far as candy and the like is concerned, it is always given to you in a Single Serving Container? That means you’re morally obligated to finish it off. No guilt. I run a stopwatch from the time my airplane takes off until it lands. ---

Ah Ha! Just as I thought! This is going to turn into a discussion about minor OCD things. I have one that was just pointed out to me. When I adjust the volume on my tv, the volume number has to end up a multiple of five. (my tv shows the usual bar that grows across the bottom when you turn up the volume, but it also shows how many bars. I’d say it goes to like 60 or something) ---

My husband says I move my mouth around funny when I play the piano. There must be a reason but I can’t think of one. Maybe my fingers don’t work right unless I move my mouth? I see guitarists do this also. ---

In spite of the fact that I have a nice, spacious and mostly empty cabinet in my bathroom to hold all of my hygiene supplies, I tend to carry all of my stuff in a bulging, overstuffed travel kit. Over the years of living with various family members, dorm-mates, room-mates, house-mates and mate-mates, all with various levels of trust and bathroom space requirements, plus a few stints of routine business travel have just convinced my it’s better this way. The only things in my medicine cabinet are a couple spare bog rolls, some over the counter meds that aren’t used frequently enough to earn a spot in my travel kit, spare toothbrush and a decorative, ceramic cactus I call Leo ---

When I step out of the shower, I make a “pop” noise with my lips, 2-3 times. Every time. And I am completely in the dark as to why. No clue. And I do it every time. ---

Whenever I go through an an automatic door I do this little wave with my hand like I’m a Jedi and I’m opening it with the Force. It’s gotten to the point where I barely notice myself doing it anymore. ---

I always thought it was to keep time, he says its to more “feel” the music. His teacher in college said we are both full of shit - it helps prevent shoulder cramping.
