I have a hearing loss so I can’t tell for sure, but I think all of the drivers of the V-Tech Smart Wheels cars have male voices. The drivers are all male, anyway. I emailed them out of curiosity to see if there were any female drivers and they said no, with no plans to add any.
I’m seeing a lot of elephants in living rooms now that I’ve noticed one of them.
Some have options; the Google Lady is still the Google Lady but hey, at least the Spanish version doesn’t! Souuund! Like aaaaan! Aerobiiiiiics! Teacher! Any mooooore! They’ve improved the grammar and the pauses as well as the over-enthusiasm, but she’s still a lady.
I changed my Siri to a male voice because I hate nagging womens voices.
I paid for the Simpsons voices for my GPS. It was funny to hear, “D’oh!! Recalculating!!!”
