List them here folks.

Mine will be that line from Jurassic Park. Where the guy goes: “Na uh uh… Na uh uh…” I know I’ve seen this referenced in a few sitcoms. The last one I saw it in was Rick and Morty I think.

I wonder if younger viewers even get the reference?

We often have an “airing of grievances” even if it isn’t December 23rd.

Best. Blank ever. Ever, Worst. Blank. Ever. Not even used ironically or emphasized like Comic Book Guy.

Aren’t these just “references to older movies/tv shows” rather than “tropes”?

When does a reference become a trope? I feel that stripped of it’s associations, it’s a trope.

To me a trope affects the plot or characterizations. A pop culture reference is just that.

Another weird reference that seems to be in nearly every cartoon I watch now is the kamehameha beam from _Dragonball Z_. My nephew says DZ is one of the most popular animes in the US, Going by the shear amount of references he must be right.
I feel like it’s become a trope because in one episode of _Amphibia_ they use it without any other reference to DZ.

…exactly… Tropes aren’t just random references.

Sometimes, they’re referencing Ryu & Ken from Street Fighter’s _Hadouken_ finishing move instead, I think.

I don’t think the one is a reference to the other (SF’s is a _Yamato_ reference)

The Action Pose Landing in superhero movies.

The three point landing was even called out in the recent Black Widow movie and in Deadpool.

In species where males and females look different, both sexes will be drawn to look the same. The first time I noticed it was in Barnyard. TV Tropes talks about it here: [Animal Gender-Bender - TV Tropes](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnimalGenderBender)

It’s also in the South Park episode “Fun with Veal”, which apparently came out before Barnyard existed. I think the calves in that episode were all supposed to be male, because only male calves are used for veal. But they had udders.

You reminded me of the trope of cartoons/ comics anthro female characters of species that don’t have breasts are either drawn curvy or with breasts. Although I suppose that’s the idea behind anthro characters anyway. Still it’s kind of ironic to see characters such as Daisy Duck with breasts.
