One favorite of my mother when I was very little: Boop boop diddum wattum dattum CHOO! Boop boop diddum wattum dattum CHOO! Boop boop diddum wattum dattum choo, and dey fim and dey fam right over the dam! Yes, my mother had a weird sense of humor, but it didn’t affect me at all. So let’s all take a turn on the chortlewort and unshackle the doppleganger while we vorpal the sillabub. And bend on a couple of snarks. ---

Are we just talking about silly song nonsense words? Or other unforgettable utterances too? Like my 7th grade Electric Shop teacher. Not so much an utterance as a song: Hut-Sut Rawlson on the rillerah and a brawla, brawla sooit I also remember the Waddley atcha song that **Scribble** mentioned when this thread was originally alive. God how I hated that stupid song. I clearly remember being in second grade and Mrs Miller would lead us in a rousing rendition, complete with hand gestures. I had a hand gesture for her :dubious:😛 Also also, slightly off topic but many years ago when David Lee Roth had a hit with\* Just a Gigolo\* I was getting pleasantly toasted with my then karaoke loving boyfriend who wanted to sing it but couldn’t get his drunken mind around the little scat part: Hummala bebhuhla zeebuhla boobuhla Hummala bebhuhla zeebuhla bop There I was, solemnly, earnestly teaching it to him like I was playing Annie Sullivan to his Helen Keller. ---

Did anybody else play a game called “Stella” as a kid? Bunch of kids stand in a circle with one hand on top of the hand of the kid beside them. Point was so that you’d move your other arm and whack the kid’s hand beside you which was on top of your other hand. While singing a song that goes: Stella ella ola quack quack quack Es chico chico, cheeky cheeky chack chack Es chico chico…velo, velo, velo velo velo now ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE! …and on FIVE the person whose hand is about to be hit has to pull away. If they pull away in time they’re still in, if they get smacked they’re out. Continue until 2 people are left and then those two arm-wrestle for the win. ---
