Have some cake! **Depression Cake** _Ingredients_ 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 2 cups raisins 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. ground cardamon 1 tsp. ground clove 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup vegetable shortening _Directions_ Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix 2 cups of water, shortening, raisins, spices, and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Simmer for 15 minutes then set aside to cool. Remove form heat and let stand until cool. When cool blend in the baking soda and flour. Fill a greased medium baking pan (about 12x10 inches). Bake for 45 minutes, then check to see that a toothpick comes out clean when stuck into the cake. ---

I assumed you were being sarcastic for those first couple of posts, **the lone cashew** , but apparently you really have an issue with this. I’m not sure what you think this change means, but it’s not a promotion. I don’t have more power in mod discussions or what have you. It means I’ll be doing a little extra work.
