Depression Cake
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
2 cups raisins
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cardamon
1 tsp. ground clove
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup vegetable shortening
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix 2 cups of water, shortening, raisins, spices, and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Simmer for 15 minutes then set aside to cool. Remove form heat and let stand until cool. When cool blend in the baking soda and flour. Fill a greased medium baking pan (about 12x10 inches). Bake for 45 minutes, then check to see that a toothpick comes out clean when stuck into the cake.
Probably the mod best able to keep his head in hairy situations. Not a bad choice.
So, if you don’t mind me asking, what can you really do that you couldn’t do before?

I assumed you were being sarcastic for those first couple of posts, the lone cashew, but apparently you really have an issue with this. I’m not sure what you think this change means, but it’s not a promotion. I don’t have more power in mod discussions or what have you. It means I’ll be doing a little extra work.
